Functional status predicts benefit of surgery in older patients with infective endocarditis

Outcomes of hospital-level care at home comparable to hospitalization for older adults
A randomized trial of hospital at home found no difference in the proportion of patients who had died or were living at home at six months, although participants who had received care at home were less likely to be in long-term residential care than those who had been hospitalized.
