Postoperative stroke risk peaks at 40 hours after CABG
Nearly 60% of strokes in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery patients occurred postoperatively rather than intraoperatively, and the risk of postoperative stroke peaked at 40 hours after surgery, a new study found.

Postop atrial fibrillation carries same stroke risk as other new-onset atrial fibrillation
