Readmission, mortality rates high for hospitalized HF patients worldwide
A systematic review and meta-analysis found that 13.2% and 35.7% of heart failure (HF) patients were readmitted at 30 days and one year and that 7.6% and 23.3% had died by those respective time points.

Mortality lower with prolonged vs. short-term IV infusion of antipseudomonal beta-lactams
