Of 445 randomly sampled U.S. hospital websites, a quarter lacked information on accommodations for people with disability and 60% did not provide a contact for patients to call with questions, according to a recent study.

Endovascular thrombectomy reduced disability when given within 7 hours of symptoms
The odds of a stroke patient who received thrombectomy in addition to medical therapy having better function at 90 days than a patient who received medical therapy alone decreased the longer the patient spent between symptom onset and arterial puncture.
