Tocilizumab for COVID-19 shows mixed results in large number of new studies
A randomized trial did not find benefit from tocilizumab, and the results were mixed from a smaller trial and retrospective analyses. An editorialist said that evidence does not yet support routine use of the drug for COVID-19 and suggested “wait[ing] out the torrent” of research.
