Prasugrel not helpful in certain ACS patients scheduled for catheterization
In patients with non-ST-segment elevation (NSTE) acute coronary syndrome (ACS) scheduled to undergo catheterization, pretreatment with prasugrel at diagnosis didn't reduce the rate of major ischemic events and increased the rate of major bleeding complications, a new industry-funded study found.
